Helicopters for Heroes is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting veterans and first responders, founded to educate our nation’s youth to respect the importance and value of our Nation’s veterans and their legacy of dedication, bravery and sacrifice. We raise money for the causes that help the men and women who have sacrificed so much. Our annual event held in Ennis, Texas includes a helicopter hunt, live music, food, fellowship, and fun for our veterans and our supporters.

Helicopters for Heroes is honoring our Veterans’ sacrifices. When our founder, Phillip Brooks, realized that there was a disconnect between the youth in the Dallas, TX community and military veterans, he sought to fix it. In 2014, he held the first annual helicopter hunt in the town of Ennis, TX, where veterans came to be honored by the community and to speak to kids and teens about their service.
Today, that event has grown into a city-wide festival with live music and lots of fun. Through our organization, we’re committed to honoring the men and women who have sacrificed and dedicated their lives to protect our freedom. We hope to see you at our next event.
